Dermoscopy refers to the examination of the skin using skin surface microscopy. It is a non-invasive procedure that aids in evaluation of colors and microstructures of the epidermis and dermis that is not visible to the naked eye . Dermatological conditions like Psoriasis, Eczema, Alopecia Areata also can be treated with correct diagnosis and treatment .
Skin biopsy is procedure in which the dermatologist cuts and removes a small sample of the skin to get it tested. It is used to either diagnose a skin condition and/or to remove the abnormal tissue as well.
Excimer Laser aims to provide high intensity dose of a specific wavelength-directly over the affected skin. As the Laser light does not touch the surrounding skin, it reduces the risk of UV radiation exposure over the normal skin. It is used to treat mild to moderate Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Chronic Eczema. It helps in rapid clearing of lesions and long term remission. Patients need to take treatment 2-3 times in week, each lasting 5-10 min each.

Anti-acne medications work by reducing the oil production and reducing infection. Extraction and Drainage: For those with black and white heads extraction helps. If there are big lumps it may be necessary to drain it.
Intra lesion treatment: After drainage of nodules, active anti-inflammatory medications may be injected that resolves the lesions faster.
Proper care of the genital skin is very important especially in those with sensitive skin or allergies and the elderly. Some basic tips:
• Avoid harsh detergents, remove it completely from the clothes
• Use plain water to clean the area
• Prefer cotton undergarments
• Change clothes after exercise
• Avoid bath soaps perfumes, etc for the area, plain water suffices
• No need to use feminine hygiene products
• Apply basic moisturizer without fragrance
